As Artistic Director of Reveal Theatre, Robert has produced and directed productions in the Midlands, London and touring including Singin’ in the Rain, Sticks and Stones, The Most Dangerous Man in England, Hitting Town, Trench Kiss, Two, the documentary play On The Home Front, Charley’s Aunt and Teechers.
Since 1999, Robert has been heavily involved in pantomime, and has written and directed numerous productions for Stephen Boden, WISH Theatre at Crewe Lyceum; New Vic Theatre, Queens Theatre Stoke on Trent, Stiwt Theatre Wrexham, Compass Theatre, Ickenham, DGO and Courtyard Theatre, Belfast.
As a freelance director, Robert has worked at the Yvonne Arnaud Guildford, Stephen Joseph Scarborough, Bolton Octagon, Southwark Playhouse, Oxford Playhouse and Aberystwyth Arts Centre on productions ranging from working with Alan Ayckbourn on his play Sugar Daddies (National No 1 Tour) and Harvest (devised), Some Enchanted Evening and Romeo and Juliet. He has enjoyed directing the musicals Merrily We Roll Along, Barnum and Fiddler on the Roof.
Most of Robert’s work from 2001 to 2006 was with the New Vic Theatre, Stoke and was Associate Director (Borderlines). Robert directed or assisted on over twenty five productions for mainstage, studio and the internationally acclaimed Borderlines department. Work there included Some Enchanted Evening, Stealing Dreams, Fight for Shelton Bar (also adaptation), Face It, and assisted on Carmen (2003 Tour version)and Outside Edge.
Robert has directed at Drama Schools and Universities in London, Wales, Keele, Manchester. He also is a Guest Lecturer in Drama Practice (Acting and Directing) at Staffordshire University.
Writing has included A Sense of (re)Direction and The Story of Mrs M (New Vic) and The Most Dangerous Man in England. He is a member of the Directors Guild of Great Britain and has had articles published in The Sunday Times, Direct magazine and The Stage and has worked for BBC Radio 4 Drama.

Andrew is currently Artistic Director of Burnley Youth Theatre where he has directed Rufus Norris’ Sleeping Beauty and Aesop’s Fables.

As Assistant Designer: Laura has been Assistant Designer / Senior Props Maker at the New Vic Theatre for the past 3 years and has assisted Patrick Connellan on Abigail’s Party, Lis Evans on Kes and Beauty and the Beast and Kate Bunce on The Wizard of Oz (New Vic Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent) Laura has worked at the New Vic Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent for the past seven years as Scenic Artist and props maker working on approximately 80 shows.
