Alan Ayckbourn’s acclaimed Confusions played at the newly built Stoke Repertory Theatre. Confusions is a collection of five individual, but linked, plays set in a living room, a hotel bar, restaurant, a park and a tea tent. The first production starred Pauline Collins in the 1970s and has proved popular with audiences worldwide ever since. It displays Ayckbourn’s observations on everyday life and human emotions in his inimitable style.
