Working in conjunction with Keele University for a fourth successive year, Reveal Theatre performed ‘Voices from the East’ at the imposing Buffavento Castle in Northern Cyprus.
At 950m above Sea Level, ‘Journey to the East’ took testimony as well as company devised material to examine the Third Crusade on the Holy Land.
Was Richard ‘right’ to invade the Holy Land?
Was Saladin a “despotic tyrant” or a “peaceful enforcer”?
How have events a 1000 years ago influenced life in the UK and Cyprus in 2011?
