Shakespeare – Key Stage 2

These workshops can serve as a practical introduction to the Bard’s work or enhance pupil’s study. You choose which play(s) we cover and the workshops focus; for example characters, language, themes, poetry and more!

PSHCE / Citizenship – Key Stage 1 or 2

Enhance your PSHCE provision – these drama exercises allow pupils to explore an issue from a range of perspectives, and provide facts and encourage positive solutions. Complements citizenship and anti-social behaviour programmes. The workshop can focus on bullying, the environment, racism, health or many other issues. Story Telling – Key Stage 1 or 2

This workshop is ideal for developing speaking and listening skills
Using a story of your choice, the youngsters actively re-tell it through a variety of story-telling forms. A practical and ‘hands-on’ session getting to grips with narrative, characters and plot, and complementing your classroom study. We have based previous workshops around Gregory Cool, Mrs Rainbow, Billy Goats Gruff and The Hungry Caterpillar among others.

Poetry – Key Stage 2

This workshop is ideal for developing speaking and listening skills
Explore elements that make up a poem through practical drama exercises. Performance techniques, rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, assonance, imagery and many more are explored. You choose the poem – we’ve based previous workshops around Revolting Rhymes, The Pied Piper, Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, and The Jabberwocky.

Circus – Key Stage 2

A highly physical workshop in which pupils learn the basics of clowning and circus. Children can have a go at juggling, diabolo, plate-spinning and clowning tom-foolery. Ideal for after school clubs – and led by a professional clown!

Pantomime – Key Stage 2

Oh yes it is! This fun workshop explores the workings of the annual festive family treat. Referring to pantos such as Aladdin and Cinderella, the stock characters, staging and jokes are all explored by the children.

Slapstick Comedy – Key Stage 2

Reveal brings this classic form of knockabout comedy to your school. Pupils are taught a variety of moves, techniques and skills…

Myths – Key Stage 1 or 2

Theseus slays the deadly Minotaur! Medusa defeated with her own stony stare. Drama games and exercises explore the mythical characters and their stories, emphasising the moralistic messages they present. Schools have used these workshops to devise presentations for assemblies.

Music – Key Stage 1 or 2

These workshops are designed to meet the needs of your pupils – from those too scared to sing through to those wanting further experience. Topics explored include breathing, posture, tone, interpretation and performance. Styles include pop, gospel, classical and musical theatre. This workshop is led by a professional Musical Director and Musician.

Dance – Key Stage 1 or 2

Catered to your needs, our dance workshops can focus on a specific genre (e.g. tap, contemporary) or explore an issue or story through movement. These workshops are led by a professional Choreographer and Dancer.
